Making its debut at Country Music Week last year, SiriusXM’s Top of the Country competition offers a national platform exclusively for emerging Canadian country artists to have their voices heard. Three finalists — Matt Lang, Kelsi Mayne and Tim & The Glory Boys — will battle it out for the grand prize live on stage before High Valley steps out as the event’s headlining act, plus surprise guests. In addition to headlining this anticipated event, High Valley is also nominated for Group or Duo of the Year award at the 2019 CCMA Awards presented by TD.
Tickets to SiriusXM’s Top of the Country Finale are available now. For those unable to attend SiriusXM’s Top of the Country Finale in Calgary, the show will air live across North America on SiriusXM’s CBC Country (ch. 171) via SiriusXM radios, online and on-the-go with the SiriusXM mobile app and at home on a wide variety of connected devices.
Country Music Week is when many of the year’s most anticipated country music events take place. Tickets are now on sale for SiriusXM’s Top of the Country Finale, CCMA Songwriters’ Series presented by Anthem Entertainment, CCMA Legends Show presented by Stingray Music and the 2019 CCMA Awards presented by TD.
About High Valley
With their flavourful blend of bluegrass-tinted country, Brad and Curtis Rempel comprise the critically acclaimed Alberta-born duo HIGH VALLEY. The brothers have received praise from Rolling Stone, Pandora, Spotify, CMT and more for soaring harmonies and memorable songs influenced by artists such as Ricky Skaggs, Diamond Rio and the Everly Brothers. Their international appeal has already earned them more than 200 million streams across the US and Canada alone. The duo is now kicking off their next project with their newest song, “Single Man.” Their first 2 singles, “Make You Mine” and “She’s With Me”, from their debut Atlantic Records / Warner Music Nashville album have both been certified Gold in the US and Platinum in Canada. “She’s With Me” has become their first Top 10 single at country radio in the States. In addition to their multiple CCMA Awards wins and Juno Awards nods, they were recently nominated for the ACM New Duo of the Year for the second consecutive year.
With their lauded major label debut album Dear Life under their belt, High Valley continue to make waves as a breakout act in country music. In addition to appearances on Live with Kelly and Ryan, TODAY and CBS This Morning, the rising duo has brought their music to fans across the world alongside the likes of Shania Twain, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. The SiriusXM Presents: Highway Finds Tour marked their first US headlining run, and they wrapped Old Dominion’s Happy Endings World Tour this past winter. High Valley spent the first part of 2019 on the road, co-headlining Canada, with Canadian Country icon Paul Brandt and are currently in the studio working on their upcoming project.
