Vancouver, BC—The Canadian Country Music Association has announced the artists who will be part of the largest fan appreciation event in Canadian country music: FanFest.  Admission is free to this public event, which will feature performances from some of Canada’s top country artists as well as autograph and photo opportunities with the stars themselves.

Hosted by JRfm’s Clay St. Thomas and Karen Daniels and CMT’s Paul McGuire, this year’s FanFest takes place Saturday, September 12 from 11am to 3pm outside in the 700 block of Granville Street (between Georgia and Robson).  This year’s event sponsors include CMT, HMV, JR-FM and Tim Horton’s.

Performers include: Johnny Reid, Jessie Farrell, Aaron Pritchett, Doc Walker, Shane Yellowbird, Deric Ruttan, Tara Oram, Dean Brody, Steven Lee Olsen, The Higgins, Jason Blaine, One More Girl, Ridley Bent, Victoria Banks, Terri Clark and more.

FanFest is one of many events taking place during Country Music Week, September 10 to 13 in Vancouver.  This annual celebration brings together industry and fans alike for four days of educational seminars, valuable networking opportunities and most importantly non-stop music.
