Terri Clark, Doc Walker & Johnny Reid To Perform At 2009 CCMA Awards

(Vancouver, BC) April 20, 2009 – The stage is being set for an all-star line-up at the 2009 Canadian Country Music Awards to be held Sunday, September 13 at General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) announced today that the 2008 Male Artist of the Year, Johnny Reid, top 2008 trophy winners, Doc Walker and multiple CCMA Award winner and international success story, Terri Clark will be performing on this year’s broadcast.
“This is just the tip of the ice-berg in terms of talent, said Executive Producer Scott Henuset of Corkscrew Media. “This stage will see the best and brightest that Canada has to offer as well as a few international superstar guests soon to be announced.”
Canadian success story and 2008 Top Selling Canadian Album of the Year winner, Johnny Reid recently saw his new album Dance With Me go gold in just over 48 hours.
Last year’s CCMA Awards host and one of Canada’s most successful country exports, Terri Clark will also be taking the stage.
Doc Walker took home five awards on last year’s CCMA Awards Broadcast and recently took home the JUNO for Country Recording of the Year and the INDIE for Favourite Country Artist/Group.
