CCMA Announces 2009 Board Members

Vancouver, BC - September 13, 2009 - The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) is pleased to announce the results of its 2009 election for the Board of Directors. CCMA members re-elected Brian Depoe, Nick Meinema, and Dawn Woroniuk and have elected KT Timmermans. The four will join existing board members Jackie-Rae Greening, Jim Cressman, Deane Cameron, Warren Copnick, Ted Ellis, Wendell Ferguson, Dale Peters, and Jill Snell.
The CCMA would also like to thank and bid farewell to longstanding board members Lynne Foster, Louis O'Reilly, Jeff Walker, and Clarence Spalding.
The Canadian Country Music Association is a federally chartered, non-profit professional trade organization whose purpose is to: protect the heritage of; advocate the development of; and enact laws favourable to the Canadian country music industry domestically and internationally.
